Big Bend Approved in Water Shoes

I purchased these shoes for my recent trip to Big Bend National Park with the intention of only wearing them while canoeing. After all, I wore them all day while I was there. Pros: Excellent breathability, fantastic grip on rock/gravel/sand/field terrain/trails, meets quick drying requirements. Cons: The breathability also means your feet will be cold without socks. Not enough ankle support to replace my hiking boots on serious multi-day hikes (they would be fine for day hikes). I am concerned…

Pros
  • Sleek design

Great shoes! in shoes

Bought a pair to hike in the Tetons and they held up, had good support, looked great etc. Worth buying but one star is for size away edition. When I first bought them and wore them at home the sizing was good but as soon as I put in a little effort while walking down the hill the pressure of my foot seemed to stretch them a little making the show a little big and unstable . After 21 days in the outback it was too late to return. I would buy a size down if you plan on walking down steep terrain.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • So far so good

I have hiked around waterfalls with them 3 times which is easiest to always walk straight way over the water. I wouldn't wear them in the rain, these shoes let water through even the smallest puddle. It takes a day with a break before they break down. I hated the first day I used them. You are most comfortable in socks, even if you plan to get wet. If they are wet they will be more comfortable if you keep them as moist as possible. If I'm only wearing them to run away for a little nausea, don't

Great Water Shoes - Men's

I bought these shoes for kayaking. They dry quickly and fit well around my feet even when I'm walking on muddy river bottoms, with damn good grip when you're getting out of the water and going over slippery rocks. The only major downside I've found is that if I wear them for too long, they can start rubbing on the heel, especially if I'm walking on clay, as it will rub quite quickly. If I'm camping at the end of a kayak trip or stopping for more than a few minutes and exploring the forest, I'll

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Great price
