This metal band delivers the highest sound quality, excellent highs and lows. When it comes to cassettes, it couldn't be better. The body of the band is attractive and durable. I recorded reggae music and the drum and bass are amazing. The difference in sound compared to high offset is negligible, but still perceptible for the audiophile. I wouldn't recommend investing in metal bands unless you can find a good deal. I checked the prices and they are way out there! One final note: depending on your recording needs, Type 1 cartridges are fine for everyday recording, although quality varies from brand to brand.
