Review on RALEIGH Bikes Training Wheels Youth by Ross Bagby

Disappointed with the quality

Considering the price I am disappointed with the quality of the bike. The handlebar grips broke the first time our son dropped the bike on the ground (see photo). It has an impeller that has been abused a lot more and the grips are strong and barely scratched. I would expect the same from a bike intended as a first training bike. Some spills are to be expected. We started with training wheels so our son could feel the transition from a balance bike to a pedal bike with brakes and they suck. They come loose so easily that when I was cycling I had to carry a wrench to tighten them while riding. The chain also started making clicking noises after just a few rides on the bike. Our son quickly learned to ride this bike but I'm not sure if it was worth the money.
