Review on 💡 GE Lighting 48706 40 Watt Appliance: Powerful and Efficient Light Bulb for Household Appliances by Tyler Owens

Don't waste time if you plan to use this in the fridge. The item I received was not a lightbulb as claimed. The seller put a fake bulb or non-separable bulb for a GE bulb in the package. The bottom of the plastic window surrounding the bulb was not sealed. When I put the lightbulb in the fridge, it lit up for less than a second and then quickly burned out. The specifications of the lamp are exactly the same as my previous lamp, but obviously this is the wrong lamp or a poor quality product. I have included a picture of both lamps (the new one and my old lamp) to prove they are supposedly the same. The milky purple glass bulb is a bulb I just received from Revain that blew out immediately after it was plugged into my fridge's outlet. The milky appearance appeared after it burned off. You can see that the clear bulb, which is the original bulb from my fixture, had no rusted contacts when it blew. These fake lamps are cheap and probably not GE. The images show that the specifications of the new lamp as well as the packaging indicate that it is a GE domestic appliance lamp, but this is not the case. Either GE has completely lost quality and started manufacturing its lamps in Hungary, or the seller is trying to pass off fakes as GE originals. It is not safe to use in refrigerators.
