💡 GE Lighting 48706 40 Watt Appliance: Powerful and Efficient Light Bulb for Household Appliances Review

The bulbs arrived on time and the first one works the same as the one it replaced. It's been working fine for a few days. The onions came bubble wrapped in a padded envelope but that was enough to protect them. The bulbs aren't super bright, but my Subzero has four, and this one is the same quality as the one it replaces. I may try LED lights in the future, but the brightness of the fridge is something I don't really notice.

The first lamp lasted over a year and was great. The second bulb burned out after less than 2 hours and is obviously defective. I messaged GE through the web form and they didn't respond within 2 days, they said it should take them. As you can see in the picture, there are black dots inside the bulb. It's too late to look to Revain for a replacement, so I paid $12 for a bulb. Never again.

This set of 2 GE Appliance (21188) 40-Watt was only 50% what I expected. I figured I could replace a blown stove light bulb and have a spare bulb a few years later. He defecated in 3 seconds. Is there something wrong with the electrical system of my cooker? nope Then I screwed in the second bulb from the kit and it worked fine. 2 stars for durability as I've already spent 50% of my purchase. I will not be returning the kit although I would prefer to keep the bulb that works.

After my oven light bulb blew I ordered (2) packs of 2 from another seller. Lifetime supply, right? Wrong, grasshopper! These things break when the hat falls off. Or close the oven door. I ordered these because in my very busy life having these delivered right to my door would be a lot easier than trying to add another Home Depot station to an already crazy life. They got here undamaged and quickly - as advertised. I installed my first lightbulb the same day. It burned down this morning. This took about 2 months and 6 days. I'm pretty unimpressed by that. Whoever thought of putting a light in a dark fridge is a genius. Now I can see everything (some I really don't want to see like that black thing in the back) and it turns on automatically! Don't waste time if you plan to use this in the fridge. The item I received was not a lightbulb as claimed. The seller put a fake bulb or non-separable bulb for a GE bulb in the package. The bottom of the plastic window surrounding the bulb was not sealed. When I put the lightbulb in the fridge, it lit up for less than a second and then quickly burned out.
