I have been using my home computer (large desktop with a good 32" monitor) for working from home but have recently had to use a company laptop to access certain applications. Then I was reassigned to a new project, which forced me to use a second client-provided laptop. Working with tiny laptop screens, even for a short time, became a real problem and I didn't have room on my desk to attach two more monitors Kit includes all the cables you need. The device itself is quite solid (metal body) and everything is ready to use out of the box. A green light on the front panel means the device connected to that port is powered on, and a yellow light means the port is currently selected as an output. I'm using a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard and mouse; I plugged the cables into the keyboard port with the USB dongle and it worked fine on all three machines. I haven't noticed any issues with mouse or keyboard lag. Overall a great product that does exactly what I expected it to do. :)
