I was so happy to get this but quickly got frustrated trying to install it. Suction cups are 100% useless. My truck's rear window doesn't have much room. With the suction cups installed, it took up almost the entire window. They didn't stick to the glass for more than 10 seconds at all. Eventually I gave up and started the return process. Then I saw another review where someone used heavy duty assembly tape and reversed the brackets. I did the same thing and attached them directly to the glass and everything works great. I am very happy with the result of this installation method and enjoy using it in my work as a utility engineer.
