Works too well. Bought it to lower the water pressure for our expansion hose. Excessive pressure caused leaks in previously purchased expansion hoses. However, the pressure is now so low that the hose does not really expand. The pressure gauge indicates that the pressure is now always in the LOW range and this regulator is not adjustable. That means it works, but the problem is that it can't be customized. The "regulator" appears to reduce pressure as it is a simple restrictor that reduces water flow with a small orifice, so it's not a complicated device. I could just buy a check valve that regulates how much water you let into the hose, so I'm going to buy one now.
