According to the description of the UGREEN USB Sharing Switch, it is intended for use with printers and scanners (USB Device Hub for Printer Scanner). I had a CanoScan 9000F that worked flawlessly. I've used it on two computers, manually plugging the USB cable back and forth as needed. For simplicity, I figured a switch would make the process easier and more automated. I connected the scanner and two computers to the UGREEN USB Sharing Switch. The switch didn't switch from one computer to another; That is, the LED display and the device display do not change. Neither computer could access the scanner when connected through the switch. I requested a refund and sent the switch back. After returning the switch, to my surprise and disappointment, I reconnected my scanner and computer to the original configuration and the scanner no longer works. I've tried every troubleshooting tool suggested by Canon (disconnecting, reinstalling drivers, checking alternative cables, etc.) to no avail. The scanner worked fine before it was connected to the UGREEN USB Sharing Switch and never worked again.
