Not the same as without mesh on the back.
I bought them for my son last year but he didn't have the net. He wore them all the time. This year I bought my two kids the mesh back ones because I really liked them. Both of my kids have calluses and living in Minnesota I bought them in April and they can finally wear them but my return window has closed and now I'm stuck in crappy shoes that they can't wear and I can't to return.
- Our 4 year old loves these for the beach/boat/everyday use.
- The sole comes off too easily
