When I opened the box of this product and unpacked everything, I knew it was something special. The monitor is beautifully designed and manufactured. The fit and finish is perfect and the image quality is superb. I've looked critically at enough products in my time and can tell which were rushed to market and which were designed and engineered with love, and this monitor fits into the second category. Every aspect simply exudes precision and quality. As I said, the picture on the display is excellent. I've been a graphics pro for many years and I'm critical of monitor performance. When I get a new monitor I usually spend quite a bit of time fine-tuning the controls to get the best picture. This one was really good right out of the box. I didn't even have to fiddle with the color balance (although the on-screen controls allow you to do that if you want). Some monitors I've tried recently have a color space of more than 100% sRGB. This may be desirable in gaming, but for normal computing, a color gamut greater than 100% sRGB will result in harsh, oversaturated colors. This portable monitor is rated at 100% sRGB, ideal for general use. And the screen's anti-glare finish is great too. I've seen many of them that were either too shiny or too diffuse - this one has just the right finish. The manufacturer deliberately included high-quality cables and a microfiber cleaning cloth - a nice plus. They also included a nice carrying case to protect them from scratches when carrying them. It's nothing cheap or flimsy and it fits really well. As for the stand, let's just say I was skeptical. I thought it might be wobbly or at least not very stable as it's too far from one side of the monitor. Wrong - works great. Very stable. And it folds into a notch on the back of the monitor when not in use. It's a slightly unconventional design, but they nailed it. I could go on and on but suffice it to say I am very pleased with the design, manufacture and picture quality of this monitor and would have no hesitation in recommending it. Five Big Stars.
