I have a green to purple bottle. I had a bottle in the passenger seat of my car and when I got to work it was about 2 o'clock. I checked my car seat after work and it was dry so I was a little confused as to what happened. A few days later, my car was enveloped in a terrible stench. My husband went to check and found that the entire floor under my passenger seat was soaked with water. I sent to replace my water bottle which was obviously leaking. A few days later I received my new bottle. I filled it up and kept it upside down in the sink at an angle all night to check for leaks before using. It passed the test so we ordered a second one for my husband. I haven't really used the bottle regularly over the holidays, but have used it daily for the past 2 weeks. The concept is great. I get water every day and it's handy to have everything in one place and also keep me updated with the time stamps on the site. My husband loves his too. Water absorption is one of our new goals. However, last week I noticed that this replacement bottle was starting to leak. First it seeped onto the floor of my car (luckily onto the rubber mat this time). Then it started to leak while sitting. I held it between my legs as we drove to work (to keep it upright) and water droplets fell on it while driving. I fill the bottle with tap water at night and drink it in the morning so it doesn't go through pressure changes from cold to warm, it's always room temperature. I am frustrated and disappointed to say the least. My husband, on the other hand, had no problems with his bottle at all. Its version is transparent to black. He suggested that there may have been an error in the production of my paint. All of this says I love the bottle and it has helped me a lot. But I don't know how much longer I can use it because it's leaking everywhere.
