I tried the 7" VSRF before Mishimoto and the turbo lag was unacceptable due to the larger core volume. Mishimoto is the same size as the standard FMIC so it doesn't work. It doesn't cause gas lag and doesn't leak like BMW's tin and plastic intercooler Throttle response and turbo lag are noticeably improved on the Mishimoto Boost generates and holds stronger pressure up to 18.5psi (with JB4) in the stock intercooler bay but I had to go with it messing around with the connectors as the stamped aluminum connectors on the BMW hoses had to be rotated about 16" to fit the slots on the CNC connector on the intercoller. The difference would be negligible but due to the lack of a lever to connect the connectors. It took about 30 minutes and some 3M grease to snap both connections in place. The overall inst All time is about an hour, less if you have access to an elevator. Great update!
