Installation on a 2008 BMW 135i was easy. Removing the floor protection with connection of the intercooler took longer. Great fit!

Excellent quality, beautiful powder coating. It was very easy to install. The FMIC's small size may limit future performance modifications such as an upgraded turbo. Mishimoto, please make a bigger FMIC with bigger inputs and outputs.

This is the intercooler you have to buy if you want the very best in your BMW 335. The build quality surpasses anything on the market. Spend your money once on quality products from an American company. Avoid the nickel and dime mentality as it will inevitably lead to disappointment. Save time, money and sanity.

So I bought this from another site but I'll check it out and let me just say this update is a must! I have a BMW 335xi 2008 N54 coupe and am currently using Cobb AccessPort Level 1 and after installing it the results were not long in coming! The turbo lag is gone and the car responds very well! Now after trying this I flashed my machine with FMIC Cobb Stage 1+ and the machine is another beast. I tried the 7" VSRF before Mishimoto and the turbo lag was unacceptable due to the larger core volume. Mishimoto is the same size as the standard FMIC so it doesn't work. The IC was packaged very tightly with molded foam ends that did not allow movement in the box. Also, the chip was sealed in high-density plastic by the manufacturers. You can tell a lot about a company by how it packages its product.
