Review on ๐Ÿฎ Chinese Lanterns 10-Pack: Eco-Friendly Sky Lanterns for Weddings, Birthdays, Memorials & More by Tutcht Cobb

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Nice tribute to my recently lost cousin

Great value for money but no instructions included so the first one we tried blew before it hit the ground running. Then luckily I read some reviews. * First, CAREFULLY personalize the flashlight right out of the box while it is flat. * Carefully (lantern paper is very fragile) open the sides and pull out. (**Important Tip** seems obvious but make sure ALL sides are clear of the cardboard bag at the bottom of the lantern) *Make sure you have a bucket or hose ready in case of a mishap. (We had a hose, but luckily we didn't need it. What can I say? I'm a Girl Scout leader, so it's better to be safe than sorry. It's just part of the training ๐Ÿ˜) (Use a BBQ lighter. We did it myself don't have one so we used a lighter and it was definitely harder) * Set the spot you want to start from. * Best with 2 people. 1 to hold the top, making sure neither side comes close to the flame. Have a second person light the fuel tank.* Make sure the bottom ring is flush with the bottom. Gaps cause the process to take longer. * Once the lantern is lit, don't move it except pull out the sides so the flame doesn't burn it. * Always stay close to him. There was a slight breeze but the lantern kept trying to tip over so luckily we were able to keep it from falling.* Once the sides widened we had to lift/push the lantern a bit to get it airborne. * Then it floated. to heaven along with our love and birthday wishes. I really like that we were able to personalize their lantern before launch.
