As a careless knitter, I lose needles all the time. So the more needles, the BETTER. At first I was very hesitant to buy these cheap bamboo sets from Amazon. But in the end I figured out the price, I can just buy a set and see what I think as the reviews were mostly negative and only a few positive reviews. I wasn't sure if the negative feedback was just from people having too high expectations or something else. Let me tell you the needles are AMAZING at this price. But here's what you need to know: 1. They'll break if you sit on them or something. But they're as strong as a pencil, so they're not THAT fragile. They won't grab you in the middle of a project when you're knitting.2. The quality control is not very good. I have ordered many sets over the years. Some of them are smooth and perfect, others have some rough edges. BUT you can easily fix it with a nail file and some coconut oil or wax. At this price WHAT? Ha ha. I'm happy to spend some time on some needles to get them at this price.3. Sometimes you can find a little crooked needles, but that has never stopped me from knitting. I use them for straight knitting, just adding some protectors to one end of the needle to add even more value. I restock sets from time to time when I can't find enough of my favorite sizes.
