I've been looking for a long time for a microfibre cloth similar to ecloth/norwex 80 polyester and polyamide 20 but for less money. I wouldn't say they are exactly the same but very similar and in some ways better! At first, I explored these weaves like crazy. I think The Rag Company is a great family business and they do a great job of educating their clothing especially for the automotive industry and they have a huge following. Personally, I only needed cleaning wipes. I learned a lot! They are made in China, weigh 28.8 grams and are very soft. During my research I found Buff 12 by 12 fabrics which also have a good following and whose fabrics are very similar, they weigh a bit more at 29.8 grams and are also made in China. Also the same price. I noticed that The Rag Company's version is a bit softer. They clean everything better than my electronic dusters, probably because they're newer. They absorb a good amount of 1/2 cup of liquid with ease. They wash up great. Because of the dyes, they should be washed before use. I had no problems applying the paint. Ordered dark grey. Note: I have learned that they should be washed in cold/warm water using only microfiber towels and nothing else. No fabric softener, only mild detergent and tumble dry low or air dry. In the photo there are two napkins, the lower one before washing, the upper one after washing. No shrinking! I love it. I highly recommend trying and comparing them. I plan to buy more in the future and I plan to have some of their other fabrics made in Korea.
