They are smaller than I thought, but that's my fault. I needed 4 inches and it's only 3.5 inches. I make breakfast for dinner all the time and need smaller pancakes to fit my plate, they work perfectly. As long as you put a bit of diaper or something similar on it, nothing sticks. They're meant for eggs, but great for pancakes (if you want small ones). The pen is a little loose but still works and has a rubber tip so you don't burn your fingers. Pancake mix or eggs will not spill on a flat pan or grill. They are made in China and are classified as egg rings because of the packaging they come in.
