Had to replace the original (I had to pay return shipping), the second one worked as advertised. There is one question that needs to be clarified. there is no direction indicator on the remote control or controller. So when you start rotating you don't know where the antenna is pointing (North, South etc.) while there are 2 buttons on the remote they don't work as expected. Knob A for clockwise movement, B for counterclockwise movement. it seems like they just change direction - press once and it goes clockwise. release and press again and it goes counterclockwise. without turn signals and if you don't see the antenna, you're lost. You can't put this unit outdoors (at least not in the Midwest) and expect it to work in the winter. I installed mine in the attic. That is the reason; I'm not sure where the antenna is pointing.js
