The mounts require an offset flex to avoid contact with the stabilizer bar.

These brackets provided an extension for the rear brake lines on my 2.5 inch coil lifter. However, the clamps not only push the shock against the flexible hinge, but also move that hinge away from the frame. This new position moves the metallic brake interface closer to the anti-roll bar. When driving off-road, the anti-roll bar is likely to hit the brake line. Other brake line extension suppliers have designed rear extensions with an offset that brings the brake line back under the frame and away from the stabilizer bar. Finally, bracket material thickness has been overrated, it doesn't need to be that thick to function well. Since I scratched them during installation I have to splurge and buy from a supplier that has an offset (Teraflex).
