This can be a personal preference and I hate when people leave negative reviews because they don't like the product because of the design or the product but because of their own nitpicking. Maybe these are my shortcomings but the cap only covers my front 4 teeth. I clench my teeth in my sleep so the pressure of my entire jaw is only on my front teeth. I have used other mouthguards before and they are much easier to breathe through. I also had no problem spitting it out in the middle of the night. I tried it out for a week before posting my review to see if I got used to it. But every morning I woke up with pain in my left central and lateral incisors (I had to look up what those teeth are called. Product, just my opinion.
