They are sold as a pair. Very important. They look the same as factory installed. My strategy will be to buy them and switch more often. I don't think a more expensive filter will solve the problem of possible mold growing on the evaporator coils in the summer. As others have said, spray some evaporator foam like Kool-it before installing new filters. The entire installation is tricky due to the Torx 20 screw being difficult to access, but that's not the product's fault, just the complicated Tesla design. Before you try it, watch the video and decide if it's worth it in your situation. It took me 40 minutes to clean the vaporizer and I saved about a hundred by visiting Tesla service.
