It works. Much easier than using a knife
I killed myself with a knife while opening coconuts. It's very easy to use. I've learned from picking coconuts from trees in my area that the smaller ones are much easier to hit and get more sap. I've seen many others, longer ones that seem to have more impact, but that's really the job used today
