I like the product, the quality did not disappoint.

Used it once when I had the chance to use it. In my perspective, the cost is excessive for the amount of detail that is included. The sound has a pleasant quality to it and a melodic quality as well. Suitable for straightforward genres and individuals who are not picky about minute details. Unfortunately, the level of information is far too low for me to be able to listen to them in any capacity. Following the beyerdynamic dt880, the sony cd380 is the lower physiological limit that can be reached. The Asus Essence ST and the Sandisk Sansa Fuze (Rockbox) were used for testing.

Pros
  • 1. The sound has a frequency response that is well balanced. 2. The scenario is professionally put together, and all of the instruments are situated appropriately. It is possible to trace transitions in three-dimensional space, including the front (and not simply the interior of the head). 3. There is no need for an equalizer. Even with regard to the bass, which has a thumping and a quite deep sound for this format. 4. The sound is lovely and genuine, without any harshness or plastic quality to it. You are able to concentrate for a very long time.
Cons
  • 1. An insensitive level of touch. You will need to rotate the player clockwise. 2. a lackluster level of sonic detail for the asking price. When there is a loss of any complexity, the sounds and components of the instruments are thrown together. Even if it turns out to be some kind of meshuggah. At the same price point, the Sony CD-380 falls short on the stage, in frequency response (subjectively), and stiffness, yet it excels in details and performs adequately. And the details, regardless of what anyone says about them, are still the most important thing.
