I bought this for my dog who has suspected hip problems that have not been officially diagnosed. She walks with occasional lameness, but no x-rays were taken to confirm the diagnosis of hip dysplasia. My dog will not chew or swallow this or any other pill or supplement even when masked by food, but I can get him to swallow using a bait and switch strategy. She thinks she's getting a bacon treat, but as she opens her mouth, I quickly pull her to the back of her tongue, leaving her with no choice but to swallow. After about a month of use the lameness hasn't completely gone but I've found that she gets out of bed faster and with less stiffness. I'm not sure if this improvement is due to this supplement or the fact that I cut back on her game and jumped down and essentially just ran her for an hour a day, split into two 30 minute chunks. I will post a review in a few weeks after using it for a longer period of time.
