This DVD drive is perfect. I had to buy this external drive because my husband and I both have new HP (win10home) and MSI (win10 pro) laptops that don't have CD/DVD drives. Now my two little children are very happy. We record children's books (for learning foreign languages, mathematics, puzzles) on DVD and watch them. This is a good sized disc that you can take anywhere. Very easy to use as it just needs to be plugged into the USB port on your laptop. I recommend this DVD drive to you
