I have very long thick hair so I searched the internet for reviews on the best comb. I wasn't looking for something delicate; my scalp is so hard that I have broken several brushes (the 'lining' of the brush - the part with the bristles attached to it - is tearing out the middle brush!). This one sounded perfect to me, and it is. Not only does it comb my unruly hair without breaking it, but it also seems to help dry my hair faster (which is GREAT because I've also spent money on products to dry my hair faster). HIGHLY RECOMMEND this brush if you have thick hair. - indeed, even if you don't! It's actually very soft, surprisingly.
