Repair plates are no problem, they are very strong at this price point. The only problem is the screws are useless, tried to tighten them by hand and with a drill and literally every one of them was unscrewed before fully reassembling, so I had to buy other screws. I would recommend just buying or using other screws to start with and avoiding the frustration of removing one or more of them.
