Result: BEST IN CLASS!

I cannot express how pleased I am with this new Striker Vivid 4CV. The first is the clarity of the return. For a fish finder under $200, the quality is on par with high-end fish finders. As usual, it is very easy to install, configure and use. Having different color schemes that can be independently configured for each sonar is a game changer. The outline mapping is about as good as it gets for a head unit that doesn't come with maps installed or doesn't have an SD card slot. They took waypoints to the next level. It is extremely accurate and surprisingly still on the ground even at 15-20mph. Especially for those just learning sonar, this is the easiest setup I've ever had. They seem to have made the regular Striker 4CV even better. Bottom line you won't find a fish finder with this kind of features and quality at this price point, believe me I lost many hours of sleep before making this purchase. I could be wrong but I had a previous Striker 4CV and this new Vivid is a real image downgrade. The new GT-20TM transducer gives a crystal clear picture especially in Ice Blue and I like the green and red colors for sonar as the red for sharp returns gives me accurate readings between fish and debris. It also kept depth readings at 40 mph. For the first time I can honestly say that I understood what I read and was able to actually use my fish finder to fish. I would have posted a video here but was impressed with the small PB mouth I caught after 7 skunk rides with my previous different brand sonar. I could go on like this but I am so impressed I will never stop. All I can say is you won't be disappointed!
