This GT20TM 4 pin converter is larger than the Striker 4 plus One. The included transducer is difficult to fish in an 8 inch hole, but when it goes through the ice it works great at 80 feet. They also sell a real ice fishing converter which I tried to avoid after seeing that they charge $86.00 for it.

I'm a little upset that this device is being falsely advertised. The unit comes with a GT20 transducer that supports CHIRP technology in traditional 2D sonar mode. Now I'm finding out it's not. CHIRP in Clearvu mode only. If you want to use CHIRP in both sonar modes, an update is required. This is false advertising guys. Gt22hw TM is an updated converter.

I use it on my kayak with a very affordable 8amp LifePO4 battery and a simple DIY rail mount. I can leave the fish finder on and get through a 9 hour day of fishing and it still has plenty of power. I love the GPS trail feature that marks my route throughout my trip so I can find my way back to the launch site. The fish finder is very accurate and easily finds my lures under the transducer when jigging straight down.

I recently got a lesson on the difference between CV sonar and CV transponder. This is a CV fish finder with a GT transponder making it extremely accurate. I cannot express how pleased I am with this new Striker Vivid 4CV. The first is the clarity of the return. For a fish finder under $200, the quality is on par with high-end fish finders. As usual, it is very easy to install, configure and use. Having different color schemes that can be independently configured for each sonar is a game changer.
