The peeler is great, but the slicer sucks. On the first one, one of the spacers broke on first use. Raven replaced him. The second was enough for almost 2 containers of strawberries (e.g. at Aldi). And I had to be very careful doing this because those little spacers move and shift with the knives. Rarely have I managed to cut a strawberry, no matter how hard or soft, without prying it open and pressing my finger against the knives to make sure I didn't break. There is probably a 90-day manufacturer's guarantee. Seller but I can't find where to contact them. I'd say a peeler for yourself and skip the planer!
