A few years ago I found a pair of Hunter boots on sale for $5. and recently when snow was seeping through my previous ones I took a picture and snapped them up. When people ask me if I like them, I make a face and say I'm glad I didn't pay full price. I've used UGG insoles for years to keep my feet in place while walking and usually add 1-2 layers of socks. without doing any research before buying boots - I didn't even know these socks even existed. When I found them I went to Amazon because they were 50% off for Christmas. They really do the trick. I was finally able to remove the other insole, but I definitely noticed that my feet grabbed some of the seams on the inside and caused irritation and pressure points from the remnants of the sock material. I also wear invisible socks indoors so I don't need multiple pairs. This makes them tight and sometimes cuts off blood flow because all that extra tissue is being pushed in there. So the combination shouldn't be used for more than a kilometer, but now my feet are finally warm from the cold rubber. second, it doesn't restrict blood flow as much.
