Review on Columbia Powderbug Emperor Salmon Regular Boys' Shoes and Boots by Adam Matthews

I wish I had read the other reviews and seen that these boots run small. We'll probably only get half the winter from them. I wanted to invest in Colombia as my child's school switched to open class this year due to COVID. But these seem super warm? They are rated for -45 F/-43 C. I'm sure winter boots don't have to be that warm. I would never send my child to play if it was -45 Fahrenheit! Due to the very thick padding on the sides, these boots are very difficult to put on. My kid had to use his foot to push and push and push and hold on to my shoulders and push some more. And then repeat with the other leg. I have four kids and stumbled on a lot of snowshoes; They are harder to hit than usual. I can't imagine being a class teacher who had to help an entire class of kids with these boots! My son loves them and they will be warm but unless they excel in terms of performance or durability I have no intention of buying them again. I'll look for something easier for him to handle.
