This is a beautiful box with many rich colors to choose from. Ideal for artists in a small space as they conveniently open and start painting without the need for mixing. Less waste because you can salvage your pallet and reactivate it with water. It's a little tricky to create layers because if you use water it can take away the color instead of adding it - although you can use this as a technique too. It's packaged fairly well, without much transfer to the lid, with little difficulty in closing and opening. I've had these colors for about a month now and they're drying out a bit but they're still good. I had some red paint on my clothes and I didn't notice it in the wash and all my whites turned pink. So be careful when washing. Next time I will use acrylic gouache that is not water activated so I have more control.
