I love playing with this gouache. For the price you get a huge amount of flowers and the cups are gigantic. I think it's great for gouache beginners and experts alike. With such a large amount in each cup, you're more likely to play with it than treat it like it's so valuable you can't use it (why do we all do such stupid things?) Bought this set after seeing some reviews on the smaller ones. After it arrived it took me almost an hour to open all the cups and my fingers hurt a bit opening them all. I found the color choices excellent and very vibrant. The colors have a good consistency as they are creamy, but you will need to add a little water to smooth them out when applied to something with a lot of teeth (e.g. canvas). This is a beautiful box with many rich colors to choose from. Ideal for artists in a small space as they conveniently open and start painting without the need for mixing. Less waste because you can salvage your pallet and reactivate it with water. I really like the quality of the colors. I don't think they dry insanely fast, but you have to respect opening up all the colors all the time. Check each time that the lid is properly closed.
