I've had several cheap handheld emulators. It's like a pocket computer. It is made of light, thin plastic. It looks fragile, but I didn't deduct a star for that, but it feels cheap. The buttons are awkwardly placed for SNES (Super Famicon/SFC games) as the shoulder buttons (L and R triggers) are on the front along with A, B, X and Y. At first I didn't think it was that bad. , but playing games that use L and R triggers is unbearable. The control panel is designed in a flat disc style, like an old-school PSP, but the controls feel fragile and sloppy. The emulators themselves are fine and all run under a pretty nice interface. You can add your own games using standard emulator formats (ROMs), which aren't always bundled at this price point. Among the games included are some that you are probably familiar with. There are also obvious omissions (there is nothing that would rhyme with "Looper Bario Others" under the NES or SNES, for example). Also, unlike some similar devices, there aren't hundreds of identical copies of the same games. a few games that I don't think have ever been popular in the English-speaking world, and I don't mean that they're just unpopular - I don't think any of them have ever been released in the West. The selection was random. There is a mix of English language games and some Chinese or Japanese (or other Asian language) games. re is inclined. I wouldn't recommend it for action games due to the sloppy controls, but it's fine for old-school RPGs and other turn-based games. Removable battery. This is an old cell phone battery. If you want, you can surely find spare parts if you want. The battery life is ok, at least for a few hours. I wish the screen was a little brighter when gaming during the day, but it's not particularly dim. Screen tearing (when moving images look bad on the screen, especially when scrolling sideways) isn't too bad either, which can be a common problem on similar devices in this price range, so it deserves credit here. for low-activity games or turn-based games. I generally do not recommend this device.
