My wife and I are experienced home cooks. We took several lessons to improve our skills and one of them was a knife lesson. The teacher was a professional cook and she recommended this product. She explained that it was given to her and she had no intention of using it, but due to circumstances she was forced to use it while working in the hospitality industry. She said she was so impressed that she continues to use it instead of a sharpener. This article does not disappoint. Makes our knives very sharp. I have professionally sharpened them and have been able to maintain that sharpness since only using this product.
