The negative comments about this missing guide must be old. I received this with perfect instructions and all parts and it literally took me 10 minutes to assemble. Very, very easy quick assembly, works and looks great! In addition, it is very durable and rotates easily and beautifully. Just note that if you plan to use it with the wheels attached, you'll need a small gap between the floor and the underside of the sofa if you want it to sit on your lap. But you can also remove the wheels relatively easily if you have some free space. Without wheels it only needs about an inch of clearance, with wheels you need a little over 3.5 inches I estimate. I highly recommend this product.
