My last handlebar was at the end of the handlebar. So when I changed handlebars and reworked old mirrors, I wanted handlebars without handlebars. They feel good in the hand and the rubber is a bit soft. I will say the left grip dangled a bit, but maybe it was the new handlebars and not the grips. Install Bay Glue Instant Cure and Accelerator and it still hasn't come loose. -XG750
