I was very disappointed for a number of reasons. Pump leaked on first use. You often need to apply the product once or twice a day. It has a very strong citronella scent which I found unpleasant. The rain will wash it away. But the big downside is that while this may seem to temporarily keep the cats away from the treated area, they only move a little and soil the new area 30 feet away. The product is also very expensive. My advice, spend your money on a live trap and then take the bugs to an animal shelter for disposal.
