UPDATED: Avoid: Steering System

. Updated Review: A little over a year after this pump, the plug on the back of the pump came loose and released all of the power steering fluid into the passenger side of my engine and engine bay. 50km from home. I drilled a hole and installed the connector myself, but this connector shouldn't come out. And removing the power steering pump on the 3VZE is time consuming. My original OEM pump (I've rebuilt it over and over again) had this connector installed and it lasted 25 years with this connector. This repair pump lasted just over a year. It looks like there should be a screw or cap to keep the plug from falling out, but my original pump didn't have one, so I don't know why this repair would be necessary if the first used the correct plug. Place. Verdict: Avoid this reman. If they don't have the right plug size, what can they not do right? First Review: My OEM Toyota pump was completely destroyed on my 94 4runner with 3VZE. The radial play on the shaft was about 1/2 inch on the pulley. I'm surprised he was still pumping fluids despite doing so with many loud complaints. but it fits, everything is well screwed etc. No leaks, no noise. Now I can hear all the other noises the 270k motor is making. another for. ?), two copper or brass washers for the high-pressure line and a wedge washer on the shaft. There are no instructions, but the replacement is fairly easy. The high pressure copper washers will probably fit, but I used a new OEM Toyota copper gasket for this as it is an integrated washer system - part number 44327-12010. Note when removing the pump that the air control valve is on the pump , two vacuum lines fit. The air control valve accelerates. Idle while turning the wheels and park so the engine doesn't stall. I shot the valve (broke off side plastic vacuum plug) so I put a new Toyota in (17630-16040) and replaced the vacuum hoses (17341-65020) to go with it. As I had hoped, he also corrected the CEL 25 code.

Pros
  • All critical components (cam blocks, control valves, etc.) are triple tested to ensure product reliability; Units are supplied with 100% tested and calibrated pressure relief valves.
Cons
  • . Everything OK.
