Very comfortable, well designed and easy to assemble

I bought this chair for my home office at the recommendation of Roasted. It arrived very quickly. I decided to document the build so people can see what this chair is all about. The packaging was fine and each piece was adequately protected. I have laid out all the parts so you can see exactly what is included in the kit. The instructions seemed pretty straightforward (see photos) and assembly was very easy. All screws and washers are included and no tools are required as the kit also includes an Allen key to assemble the entire chair. (Note: I just used the supplied allen wrench and it was pretty easy. It would be a little easier if I got one of my long T-handle socket wrenches from my tool room). The chair took about 10 minutes to assemble after all the parts were taken out of the box and unpacked. The chair itself is very comfortable. It has the usual controls for raising/lowering, locking the backrest or recline, and a knob to adjust the tension that allows the chair to recline easily. The armrests can be rotated up and out of the way if you wish to use the chair without armrests. I'm 6ft 4in so I had to raise the headrest all the way to fit me. For those who are taller than me, they can omit the headrest altogether. Overall, my first thoughts are that the chair feels very sturdy and comfortable. When I put weight on the armrests, they don't feel like they'll bend or break like inferior chairs have. My main concern as a tall person is that I needed a chair that would be durable and comfortable. This chair can do both!

Pros
  • High Definition Upholstered Mesh Office Chair: Our breathable ElastoMesh mesh ensures optimal air circulation and prevents fogging and sticking. But it's also slim and doesn't feel like you're sitting on a wire like many of the chairs you'll see today. And while it's good to take regular breaks, Ergo3D is so comfortable you'll even forget you're working. The wide back gives you the strongest support.
