I was expecting this case to be the same/similar gold color as my gold iPhone but the case was more brassy in color then expected.It also did not have the soft feel that I was hoping for since I was under the impression that it was a rubberized case. This wasn't a deal breaking, but to my disappointment, it was a hard plastic case that looked extremely cheap compared to other brands around the same price range. Furthermore, the apple logo does manage to shine through, but it is very grainy. I also ended up ordering the wrong size for my MacBook so I will definitely be returning. (Make sure you order the right one!)In conclusion, you should stay clear of the gold case and stick with the other nonmetallic colors if you want the apple logo to shine through clearly and if you are looking for a rubberized case. (However, I'm not even sure if the other colors Ruban sells are ruberized, but I'll guess you'll find out ;) Other then my previous complaints, although it looks very cheap, it will prevent your MacBook from getting scratches and dirt (although I don't see this case lasting anyone very long) and will probably do the job it was made to do.
