Small device reminds me of an old speaker. It has a very small compartment at the bottom for water. It doesn't hold much at all, so be careful not to overstuff it like I did and make a mess. I was impressed that cool air actually came out that reminds me of 65 at night. My son doesn't have air conditioning in his jeep or work truck so I figured it might help with the dry heat 85-95 degree weather. All I can say is it's better than nothing, it works great and has 2 speeds. By the way, everything made of plastic, which seems to be trendy at the moment.
