My cockatiel loves this perch! She is the most eager chewer I have ever had in such a small package so this perch is the perfect solution for her. She has a manzanita perch in her "apartment" which only frustrates her as the wood is so hard she can't break it off. This perch is very sturdy, but the nifty little pieces of wood it can snap off make it easy to tag (and it's not very messy, so it makes my tag, too). I don't think I'll need to replace it any time soon and feel good about recommending it to other bird owners who want to entertain their birds (note: I don't want this to sound like a toy substitute, but since most birds have relatively short attention spans and need a lot of stimulation to avoid boredom). You won't be disappointed when you get it for your feathered friends.
