Imagine my dismay when I discovered that my VESA compatible display did not fit in my VESA compatible wall mount! Too much VESA! (I remember when it was a hacky high-speed video card standard when ISA couldn't cut it.) But it's on me; I should have checked! This product has helped me. It's the right size and has all the vesa holes a 75x75 to 400x200 person could need, except you don't have to fiddle with corners to line and align things. Simple and easy installation on the first try will cost a few bucks more! The only major downside I found is that I wanted to mount my 25lb 100x100 display on the 400x200 wall mount option. When I did this, this panel flexed noticeably under the weight of the display. I assume almost all applications like this scale "large" (200x200 and above) to "small" (100x100 and below). So this use was predictable. Panels of this type must carefully balance thickness and weight; this one seems too thin. However, using 200x200 holes instead of 400x200 worked great. In this configuration there was no flexing at all. It would be nice to upgrade if they included the nuts in the hardware package. Of course, the side of the display screws directly into the back of the display. And you'll probably have to use special display bolts for that. But in almost every situation, nuts are needed for fastening on the fastening side. It seems like no one ever turns them on. (The mount didn't help either.) I wouldn't turn my nose up at some spacers either, although it may have more to do with the mount than this plate, so I don't regret not having them against it. So in my case I used my own nuts and bolts, nylon washers and some cleaned gaskets. It worked well. The M8 screw is the ideal size for this plate. While I'm only giving these four stars for not being sturdy enough to live up to their full promise, that doesn't stop me from recommending them for any occasion where 400x200 to 100x100 isn't a tough requirement. Just be prepared to get your fasteners on the table from the fastener side.
