Works perfectly! for lighters and matches

I use this lantern to light candles around the house and have found that the long profile of this lantern helps light a candle that is set fairly low in the jar. Now I don't have to worry about burning myself when I light candles like with a lighter. Good product! Works great, especially the sliding "lock" mechanism helps. I recommend to everyone.
