Review on Extech MO260 Combination Pinless Moisture by Kenny Sarma

This is by far the worst moisture meter. It never worked properly and is now unusable. It worked well enough for me to gain confidence, but I was never really happy with it. Now the 1 year warranty has expired and it only works when it wants to. I can send it in for repair for $150 which I won't do. I'd rather take the risk of buying another counter. I expected more from Extech, a flir company. I use other Extech and Flir products that work great. For the price I expected a better product and am very disappointed. The experience with this meter made me weary of other Extech products. Edit: I initially gave 1 star and changed the rating because Extech sent me a new meter. Which new meter works much better.
