Review on Browning BR-H-50 Sirius & SiriusXM Outdoor Home Antenna for Crystal-Clear Satellite Radio Reception – Black by Ickey Case

I installed this on the roof of my RV so I can use the SiriusXM radio when camping. Mine has been pretty finicky since I installed it. When installing, I used my fingers to tighten the wire to the antenna. Tried the radio and was told no antenna was found. I checked the cable, it was fine, and so was the radio. There are no problems at these ends. I started unscrewing the cable from the antenna and suddenly it worked. I have found that the antenna only works if the wire is screwed in a few turns. Basically enough to capture the first few threads. A little tighter and it won't work anymore. I contacted the manufacturer who referred me to the seller. I emailed the seller (who was a seller on the Amazon marketplace) who redirected me to Amazon. Revain quickly resolved the issue.
