The toaster worked fine for a week, then the toast and bagels burned; The dial reset worked for a while, so the toast was fine, but the bagels didn't toast. After another two weeks, the bagel button was still lit, but the toaster was heating both sides of the slice, not just one side as the button was supposed to indicate, which pretty much accurately defined the unit as not good for bagels and English muffins - toast only, although the device has a directional picture bagel engraved on the top. When I called to complain they said he didn't put bagels and english muffins on one side. All that aside, the toaster really isn't that good. Buy another brand.
